Our HistoryIn July of 2019 the founders of Humble Hounds MN (Cari Ricci, Michelle Hair and Erik Johnson) had a vision of helping forgotten or less fortunate dogs find forever homes. Cari, Michelle and Erik have always been very passionate about making sure all animals, especially dogs have a good home. This has now been brought to the next level as we move forward on our mission of finding the forever homes that all dogs deserve. Dogs Are Our MissionHumble Hounds MN is a compassionate non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of dogs. Our mission is to rescue dogs without homes or those at risk of euthanasia and provide them with a loving forever home and a happy life. Operating with a foster-based system, we rely on the generosity of foster families to care for dogs until they are adopted. The organization's commitment extends to ensuring every animal receives proper veterinary care to help manage the pet population. Our work is driven by a community of volunteers who share a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of dogs and the people who welcome them into their families.
